Hennepin County Selects ScheduleAnywhere for Employee Scheduling and Disaster Planning

Atlas Business Solutions, Inc. (ABS) announced that Hennepin County, Minnesota, the largest county in Minnesota with 1.1 million residents, has chosen ScheduleAnywhere® to schedule nearly 7,500 of its employees. Hennepin County will use ScheduleAnywhere to manage the day-to-day work schedules of its employees and gain real-time visibility of schedules and staffing needs across multiple departments, including health services, public health, libraries, public safety, and public works.

Managing Employee Work Schedules Online

ScheduleAnywhere will ensure proper staffing levels are achieved throughout Hennepin County. Departments will enter their staffing requirements and instantly see coverage gaps, as well as be able to identify available and qualified employees to help fill those gaps. ScheduleAnywhere will also be used to track time off and availability, as well as employee skills and certifications.

“It’s the most effective way for Hennepin County to schedules its employees, share personnel, and ensure the right people are scheduled where and when they’re needed,” said Jon Forknell, ABS vice president and general manager. “Hennepin County will use ScheduleAnywhere to schedule employees by shift, department and location, as well as allow managers to share schedules and personnel across multiple departments.”
